For the first time ever, The Americas will scale across North America, Central America and South America to explore the vast landscapes, remote wilderness and mysterious creatures that inhabit the region.
The premium landmark series Narrated by Tom Hanks (Forrest Gump) featuring music from Hans Zimmer, will take viewers on an unforgettable journey across Earth’s only super-continent, which is home to the greatest variety of life on the planet, from the largest rainforest, tallest trees, oldest living beings and the most extreme elemental forces. Our team was assigned to shot the last great flowering of the Atacama desert in the year 2022. Using motion controlled systems Christiaan Munoz Salas and Christan Munoz Donoso managed to capture new images to show the change that occurs when the most arid desert in the world receives rain every 5-10 years. Also Christiaan was assigned to shoot the Darwin's rhea at Patagonia National Park using GSS camera stabilization system.
